Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency, Canada Business, CyberNB, the Canadian Institute for Cybersecurity (CIC), and Bulletproof are pleased to offer a series of Cybersecurity workshops around the province to
New Brunswick companies.

Through this series of cybersecurity workshops, ACOA, Canada Business, CyberNB, CIC, and Bulletproof will continue efforts in supporting industries by raising awareness, talking about cyber security issues critical to businesses and individuals, and highlighting support available to ensure organizations are cyber secure.

Sessions will run from 8:30 AM until 12:00 PM and will allow participants to receive information on various business programs and services that are available to them with regards to cybersecurity. Participants will then be able to ask questions through a small experts panel, and of course, they will have the opportunity to network with various businesses and stakeholders throughout the event.

Sessions will be free and will take place at the following locations:

November 20 – Delta Beauséjour in Moncton

November 21 – Delta Fredericton

November 22 – Atlantic Host in Bathurst

November 23 – Four Points by Sheraton Edmundston

Par l’entremise de cette série d’ateliers sur la cybersécurité, l’APÉCA, Entreprises Canada, CyberNB, CIC et Bulletproof poursuivront leurs efforts visant le soutien des industries en augmentant la sensibilisation, en discutant d’enjeux relevant de la cybersécurité qui sont essentiels aux entreprises et aux individus et en mettant en valeur le soutien accessible en vue d’assurer la cybersécurité des organismes.

Les séances s’étendront de 8 h 30 à 12 h et permettront aux participants de recevoir de l’information sur différents programmes et services d’affaires qui leur sont accessibles en ce qui a trait à la cyber sécurité. Les participants pourront également poser leurs questions par l’entremise d’un groupe d’experts, et bien entendu, ils pourront aussi réseauter avec différents entrepreneurs et intervenants tout au long de l’événement.

Vincent Roy is a full stack software developer with just under 10 years of experience. In that time he’s had a chance to work with various technologies from backend services written in Ruby on Rails to browser applications written using CoffeeScript. He is currently a Senior Software Engineer at EMC writing backend and infrastructure services in Java, Python, JavaScript and Go.


During the past three decades, Paul Brooker’s career has undergone almost as many regenerations as Dr. Who. His current incarnation is a Web Developer for Alongside, where he can find himself in any part of the web stack at any given time. Paul volunteers some of his spare time to Startup Weekend NB and the technology council of Oulton College, of which he is an alumnus.
